# 2025 - Keezer 3.0 - Part 2 #keezer [[Home Brewing]] [[2025 - Keezer 3.0 - Part 1]] - decommissioning the old Keezer. --- Decision taken to purchase a slightly larger freezer (198L), which meant that the collar for the Keezer had to be rebuilt. ![[keezer_3-30.jpg]] Hopefully I got the dimensions correct. # The Build The freezer was delivered within a couple of days. ![[keezer_3-13.jpg]] The company should have unpacked it and removed the packaging! ![[keezer_3-20.jpg]] Lid off, which was surprisingly straightforward. ![[keezer_3-10.jpg]] Measurements taken and timber purchased. ![[keezer_3-14.jpg]] Set to work. Measure five times, cut once. I still managed one cock-up!!! ![[keezer_3-18.jpg]] Collar assembled, with holes for taps. A bit unconventional to have the taps positioned at the sides, but I decided that this would make access around the lines easier if they were kept to the sides. ![[keezer_3-19.jpg]] Recesses for hinges needed, a bit of a pain. ![[keezer_3-16.jpg]] Timber treated and rain forecast. ![[keezer_3-17.jpg]] Heavy rain, so timber taken inside (still wet). ![[keezer_3-21.jpg]] Collar being fixed with silicon sealant. Left for 24hrs. ## Completed ![[keezer_3-40.jpg]] Completed Keezer. ![[keezer_3-41.jpg]] Kegs and lines. It will accommodate 3 x 20L and 2 x 8L Oxebar kegs. ![[keezer_3-42.jpg]] Lines clipped to reduce potential strain on the tap coupling. ![[keezer_3-44.jpg]] ![[keezer_3-43.jpg]] Gas line split, and heater pad and #Inkbird probe cabling. ![[keezer_3-45.jpg]] Temperature controller and gas setup. ## Conclusion So far it’s all working well - enough room for two kegs on tap, and a third conditioning. Took a little while for the temperature to settle down and find the right spot for the temperature probe.
